Iranian Drones

quadcopter kits for sale

Iran's drone program is inspired by the Predator, which is an American Air Force model. Shahed 129 is a 2010-launched aircraft that was modeled after Predator. Iran also developed an airstrip in Jakigur for 2015 as well. The Shahed 129 was the only drone to bear the name of an American action hero.

Mohajer-2

The Mohajer-2 is an improved version of the Mohajer that is more capable in operational range and navigation. The Iranian Air Force was responsible for the development of the Mohajer-2. It took over production duties from the original Mohajer. The Mohajer-2 measured 9.6 feet in length and had a wingspan of 12.5 feet. The propulsion system featured a WAE-342 Series 2-stroke engine producing 25 horsepower and an electric propeller. It had straight fuselage with wing tips that clipped and mainplanes that ran near the midships.

Iranian officials successfully converted their Mohajers (Ababils) into advanced UAVs. UN Peacekeepers interrogated Iran's government in 2008 about the presence drones in Sudan. The Iranian government said that the drones were Zagils. Two of the drones were shot down by rebels in Sudan. Venezuela then purchased the Mohajer-2 UAVs, but was unable to detect them.

Karrar interceptor

The Karrar, an unmanned aerial vehicle from Iran and a one-way cruise missile, is a prototype. Its wing design makes it possible to operate at high speed and altitude. Both types of missions can be performed by the drone, as well recording images of the targets for ground control systems. It can also carry munitions. It is believed to be able to carry a 500-lb unitary explosive bomb as well as two smaller weapons. They would kill all civilians and drones in the area if they shot it down.

The Karrar unmanned air vehicle is a cloned of the Beechcraft MQM-107 Streaker. It was a military target used by the United States and exported to Iran during the Shah's regime. The Iranians reverse-engineered the aircraft to produce the Karrar. The drone can travel at speeds of 500 mph, and can carry 250-pound antiship missiles, a GPS guided bomb, or a small cruise missile.

How To

Repairing A Damaged Drone Motor

It is important to first identify which motor part is damaged before you can repair it. To do this, remove the propeller and motor shaft. Then you should remove any wires attached to the motor and look at the inner workings of the motor itself. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

You don't need to worry if there's no damage to your motor. However, a motor that looks like the one below will require you to replace certain components before you can fly again.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. To get the motor to turn again, you'll need to bend it. To hold the motor, use a vice grip or pair of pliers. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Now your drone is ready to fly!
